Hello Elkyn,
To record the sound we used a particle velocity microphone. The mosquitoes were tethered above the microphone from a strand of hair. This audio was paired with a beautiful video of free-flight created by the Cohen lab at Cornell (http://cohengroup.ccmr.cornell.edu/)
Thanks for your question ,
Laurne

Hello
is a great recording. I want to know, how did you record the mosquito?, microphone? and did you use a special cabin?
Thanks
